Let me tell you how I was blown away yesterday at a business in Holland!!!!!! I had seen a post last week or so about a Butcher shop that was selling eggs still at a reasonable price. So I decided to go and see for myself, even though the price had gone up a bit from the time of her post, they were still reasonable. The line was long and the people kept coming and coming, the customer a few people in front of me was asking for custom cuts and it took quite a while especially with only one register, the owner of this business took it upon himself to come out and hand each customer in line a free 1# package of bacon!!!!!!!!! Along with the words, “Thank you for your patience and your business,” Who does this nowadays???? Earl that is who and I will make the trip again to Holland and give this man more of my business!!!!! Earl’s Meats, LLC 5685 143rd Ave. Holland. It is always easy to complain about things, but it takes just as much effort to applaud those that deserve it!!!!!
We’ve been working with Earl’s Meats now for over 20+ years and have really gotten to build a great relationship with them. Their on site ” Farm Harvesting ” or mobile butchering is something we use 4-5 times throughout the year for beef and pork. We couldn’t ask to work with a better group of professional people who treat our farm with respect, as if it were their own and also who treat you like more than just another customer. They have the meats! Seriously good meat. And not expensive. Their chicken breasts are huge and so tasty. Steak superb. I tried a bison ribeye…yum. And then there’s the sausages, so many kinds and all real meat not dodgy fillers. Eggs are cheap and great, 8 out of my last dozen were double yolkers. Really kicking myself I didn’t come here sooner. And the staff are delightful. Do yourself a favor, get over to Earl’s Meats
Our family loves Earls Meats, they will always have our business! The staff is fantastic, they are always so helpful, friendly, and willing to answer any questions. During the thick of the pandemic, I would send them a message via Facebook and tell them what I wanted, and they would shop for me. I would call when I was there, and someone would bring it out to my car for curb side pickup. The customer service quality and the meat quality are impeccable! It’s always so clean inside and the way they process is remarkable. I got to tour the shop and witness how the process works, and I will not buy meat anywhere else now. I helped process Pig-n-the-blankets for a fundraiser they helped with. I hate making pig-n-the-blankets now but love buying them from Earls Meats! LOL
I’d like to praise Earl’s Meats, LLC for the fabulous beef tenderloin filets I purchased there last week for Christmas dinner. I had ordered them a specific way last year for a Christmas dinner party and, unfortunately, they were cut incorrectly. I let them know and they offered me a gift certificate at the time. A YEAR later, I asked Laura at Earl’s if they would still honor it….and they did! I was amazed and thrilled with their customer service and commitment to quality. I prepared individual Beef Wellingtons with them and they were outstanding- tender, well marbled (filets are usually too lean for me!) and delicious. I will go back there in a second and encourage everyone else to as well. We’re relatively new to Holland and I’ve had trouble finding great protein options. I’m excited to try other options there.

I started smoking with a pellet smoker about a year ago and the staff at Earl’s Meats has been the perfect resource for information on different meat cuts. When I ordered a 1/4 cow they helped me decide how I should have it butchered in order to get the cuts I needed for different recipes. I’m thankful to have them right around the corner!
It was so great to meet Cheryl today! The meat selection is always impressive. But more than that we appreciated the kindness and attention to detail. I love how they do work in Honduras too!
